This 8 days safari will start with a visit to Lake Mburo national park in search of wildlife and you will do a boat cruise and then drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking and Batwe community visit. Bwindi impenetrable national park is home to the half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world. You will then visit Queen Elizabeth national park where you will do a game drive at Kasenyi sector and boat cruise at Kazinga channel where you will be rewarded with beautiful view of wildlife and water animals. The tour will end with visit to Kibale forest national park a home to the chimpanzees.

Day 01: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Rise early and take morning tea. You will be picked from the hotel by our company guide who will transfer you to Lake Mburo national park. Your first stopover will be at the Uganda Equator line for photo shot and experiments and the guide will explain important information about the equator. Proceed to Lake Mburo national park; upon arrival you will have an en-route game drive in search of wildlife like giraffes, zebras, water-buck and warthogs to list the few.

Head to the lodge for lunch and after lunch, you will go for boat cruise and you will enjoy the view of hippos, crocodiles and water birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Drive to south western Uganda to the land of mountain gorillas after your morning breakfast.  Drive through ever green vegetation, rolling hills, banana plantation and tea plantation. You will have lunch on en-route to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will arrive to Bwindi in the evening and you will be driven to your lodge.

Check-in at the lodge; refresh yourself as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Gorilla tracking and Batwe experience

Leave the lodge after morning breakfast. Carry your packed lunch, hiking equipment’s and enough drinking water, report to the Park headquarters for registration and briefing. You will be given a tracking group of 8 people per gorilla family being led by silver back gorilla. Drive to the starting point of the gorilla trek and at 8:00 am you will start with the trek. The trek takes half an hour to 8 hours depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas. Enter into the jungle in search of endangered mountain gorillas and you will encounter other wildlife like monkeys, forest elephants and bird species. On finding the giants, you will spend only one hour with them viewing them, interacting with them, taking photos, asking questions from UWA game ranger and seeing how the silver back protects its family. Being with these endangered mountain gorillas is an extraordinary feeling.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relax a bit and after you will go for Batwe experience in the Batwe nearby communities. Enjoy the evening with the Batwe people who were once poachers but now reformed poachers. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the pervious lodge.

Day 04: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After morning breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will view some incredible scenery along the way as you proceeded to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will arrive to the park at lunch time, drive to the lodge, check-in and have lunch. Go for afternoon boat cruise in the plains of Kasenyi search in search of wildlife like lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, leopards and giraffes to list the few.  Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat on Kazinga Channel.

Wake up very early in the morning and drive to the plains of Kasenyi sector where you will find the highest concentration of wildlife. You will get a chance to see other wildlife that you missed to see on the previous day. Return to the lodge for lunch and at 2:00 pm you will head for afternoon boat cruise at the Kazinga channel. You will get an opportunity to see wildlife like hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants and water birds to list the few.  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park

This morning you will set off for morning game drive to the northern bank of Queen Elizabeth national for game viewing. Expect to encounter different types of wildlife and after return to the lodge and have late breakfast. Check-out of the lodge and then transfer to Kibale forest national park with en-route lunch.

Proceed and visit the crater lakes, Fort Portal town and then drive to the lodge for check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at selected lodge.

Day 07: Chimp tracking and Bigodi swamp walk

Rise early and have morning breakfast. Drive to the park headquarters for briefing and to join other trackers. The well-armed game ranger will led the group into the Kibale forest in search of chimpanzee and you will get a chance of seeing more than 13 primate species in the forest.  After finding the chimpanzees you will spend one with them and return to the starting point where you will meet your tour guide waiting to transport you back to the lodge for lunch.      

 After lunch you will head to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a swamp walk in search of primates, butterflies, flora and fauna. This wetland belongs to community neighboring the park and the funds collected from the visit to the wetland are given back to the community. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the previous lodge.

Day 08: Departure

Wake up early and have breakfast. Check-out of the lodge and you will be transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch. Drop off at the hotel or Entebbe international airport to catch up with your  flight back home.
